Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport on the first day of the 5 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari, your driver guide will pick you up, brief you about the safari and then set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda region. On the way you will have en-route lunch in Fort Portal where after you will proceed the journey with panoramic views of the beautiful scenery, Rwenzori Mountains, tea and banana plantations, crater lakes many others. On arriving at the park, you will continue to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hab-midrange or Queen Elizabeth bush lodge-budget.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
On this day, enjoy early breakfast on the second day of the 5 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari, you will meet up with your driver guide and embark for a morning game drive in kasenyi sector where you will be able to view animals’ species including elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, warthogs, giant forest hogs, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas if you are lucky, different bird species, plants and more. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head for an impressive boat cruise on Kazinga channel, a water body that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. During the boat cruise which takes about 2 to 3 hours you will be able to view large school of hippos and crocodiles in water, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs drinking water along the shores of the lake, view aquatic bird species, view fishermen preparing their fishing gears for night fishing, take memorable photo shoot many others. After the boat cruise adventure you will return to the lodge, have dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Nature walk and optional crater Lakes tour
On the third day of the 5 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari you will meet up with your driver guide to embark for an interesting nature walk where you will be able to view different animals, listen to sweet melodies of bird species in trees, enjoy great views of the beautiful scenery, take photos among others. After the guided nature walk, you will head back to the lodge for lunch where after you will spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for an optional Crater Lake tour where you will visit Katwe Crater Lake. During the tour, expect to interact with the local people who will be extracting rock salt from the lake so as to earn a living, visit Nyamunuka Crater Lake which is known as the hospital for animals, Lake Bunyampaka, Nyamunuka many others. Thereafter, drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Ishasha sector
On the fourth day of the 5 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari, enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, served with delicious snacks. Then after, go meet up with your driver guide to drive to Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park for a game drive where you will be able to view the unique tree climbing lions if you are lucky, you will be able to see other animals’ species such as the Uganda kobs, waterbucks, buffaloes, elephants among others. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 5 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to depart to Kampala. On the way you will a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and then process the journey with another stopover at the Equator where you will buy craft items, art pieces, paintings and take memorable photography. From the Equator, proceed to Kampala, reaching early evening. Upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at any place of choice.
