Bird List in Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda-Birding Safari : Queen Elizabeth national park is one of the top safari destination visited on wildlife tours with diversity number of 95 mammal species and a great location for birders harboring 600 bird species as we are short listing them below. The park is located in the southwestern Uganda, ranging from open savannah Ishasha plains to the humid rain forests, fresh water lakes the acacia and euphorbia bushes lowlands and wetlands, salty water lakes.

The park is a paradise of birder of birds over 600 species of birds making it a top birding destination in Uganda. Migratory birds can be seen from November to April yearly and resident birds can be spotted throughout the year. Birds of Queen Elizabeth national park can be spotted at their habituated areas including Maragambo forest area, katwe area, katuguru bridge area, Lake kikorongo area, Kasenyi area, Ishasha area, Mweya peninsular area among others’
