Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depending on place your agreed to meet up in Kampala/Entebbe on the first day of the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari, your driver guide will pick you up, brief you about the safari and then set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. Along the way, you will have en-route lunch in Fort Portal where after you will proceed the journey with spectacular views of the beautiful scenery, Rwenzori Mountains, tea and banana plantations, crater lakes many others. Arrive at the park, go to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hab-midrange or Pumba safari cottages-budget.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari, you will meet up with your driver guide and embark for a morning game drive in kasenyi sector where you will be able to explore numerous mammal species such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, warthogs, giant forest hogs, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas if you are lucky, different bird species, plants among others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will embark for an exciting boat cruise on Kazinga channel, a water body that joins Lake George and Lake Edward. During the boat cruise which covers about 2 to 3 hours, you will be able to view wide range of hippos and crocodiles in water, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs drinking water along the shores of the lake, view aquatic bird species, view fishermen preparing their fishing gears for night fishing, enjoy picture taking among others. After the boat cruise adventure, return to the lodge, have dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and optional crater Lakes tour
On the third day of the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Kyambura gorge for the briefing about the rules of chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest looking of the habituated chimpanzees which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on their location because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During trekking you will enjoy spectacular views of other primate species, view beautiful bird species, animals, plant and tree species among others. On finding them, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which helps you to learn more about their habits and behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, hunting, resting, take photos and capturing videos for your future remembrance.
After an hour with the chimpanzees, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and leave the lodge for lunch where after you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or embark for an optional crater Lake tour where you will visit Katwe Crater Lake. During the tour you will be able to interact with the local people who will be extracting rock salt from the lake so as to earn a living, visit Nyamunuka Crater Lake, Lake Bunyampaka, Nyamunuka many others. After the Crater Lakes tour you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Ishasha sector
On the fourth day of the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari, you will have an early breakfast at the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive to Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park for a game drive where you will be able to view the rarely tree climbing lions on your lucky day, you will be able to see other animal species such as the Uganda kobs, waterbucks, buffaloes, elephants among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 5 Days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide driven back to Kampala. On the way you will a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and then proceed the journey with another stopover at the Equator, where you will buy craft items, art pieces, paintings and take memorable photo shoots. From the Equator, proceed to Kampala. Arrive in the evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at any place of your choice.
