The park is home to world’s population of mountain gorillas that still exists in the wild. Gorilla trekking is the main done activity in the park. After gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and then drive to Lake Bunyonyi a good place for relaxation, canoe ride, birding, nature walk among others. The trip starts and ends in Kampala or Entebbe

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Depending on your location in Kigali on the first day of the 4 days Bwindi Gorilla trekking in Uganda from Kigali, you will be welcomed by our professional safari driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then you will set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which takes about 4 to 5 hours’ drive through Katuna border in Kabale. On the way you will enjoy stunning views of rolling hills in Rwanda, terraced farmlands, scenic scenery among other. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge. Dinner and Overnight

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla trekking: On the second day of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi Safari, have breakfast. You will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet your safari driver guide to drive you to the park headquarters for briefing at 7:30am about rules and guidelines for gorilla trekking. Then after, park range will group you into a group of 8 persons and allocates you to the assigned gorilla family. You will be guided by an experienced park rangers guide who will take you to encounter gentle giants.

Gorilla trekking experience takes 2 to 7 hours depending on where were late seen the previous day. Once you allocate them, one hour is allowed to you with to spend with gorillas learn about their behaviors, feed, eat, hunt and survive all day all as well as enjoying memorable photography.

Later in the evening go for community walk to see how people live around this area especially the Batwa people who known as an indigenous group of people. Have dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi: After having breakfast, you will set off your journey to Lake Bunyonyi found in Kabale which is the second deepest lake in Africa and a great location for birders. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the sweet sounds of the birds. In local language the word Bunyonyi means small birds.

You will go for a canoe trip experience on the lake where you will be able to sightsee numerous bird species, visit communities around, landforms the lake is comprised of 29 islands as well as taking as much photographs as possible. Then after the canoe, have lunch and in the evening go for a community walk through the Batwa and Abaheesi communities.
