10 Days Uganda Game, Primate, and Jinja Tour
The 10 Days Uganda Game, Primate, and Jinja Tour takes you to the southwestern part of Uganda and explores Uganda’s ultimate wildlife and primate safari journey adventure. Places to visit; Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, as well as a visit to the world’s famous site ‘’source of the Nile’’ in Jinja.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
On day 1 of the 10 Days Uganda Game, Primate, and Jinja Tour, depending on your location in Entebbe /Kampala, our driver guide will pick you up and Proceed to the western Uganda region to Kibale Forest National Park. This Park is home to almost 13 primate species. These include red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkey and the most spotted here are the chimpanzees and many more. You will have lunch in Fort Portal and proceed with the journey to the Kibale forest. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Nature walk
On day 2 of the 10 Days Uganda Game, Primate, and Jinja Tour, after breakfast, you will set out for chimpanzee tracking within the Kibale Forest. During your search, expect to see a lot of primate species like chimpanzees, monkeys, and other animals like forest elephants, bush pigs and duiker, warthogs, reptiles, and amphibians as well as a colorful variety of butterflies. Return to the Lodge for lunch. After lunch, go for a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp area and look out for most of the water-loving bird species. The forest /Park has almost 335 species of birds and therefore a good place for birders. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On day 3 of the 10 Days Uganda Game, Primate, and Jinja Tour, after enjoying your cup of coffee in the morning, depart the park and embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Depending on your time, have a stopover to take some pictures of the tea plantations, and crater lakes among others before entering the park. Enjoy your lunch and unwind at your lodge or embark on an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning game drive and Night game drive – Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will go for an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector where you may spot various animals like elephants, Uganda kobs, and leopards among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and rest at the lodge as you get ready for your fabulous night game drive which starts at around 7 pm, you will be accompanied by an experienced UWA ranger guide with a spotlight torche to help you in search of nocturnal animals like leopards, lions among other species to see. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi
After having your morning breakfast, you will set off for Bwindi impenetrable national park with en-route lunch and a stopover in the Ishasha sector where you will be able to view the tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival in Bwindi National Park, you will check into the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing and go for gorilla trekking. This could take 4-6 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. After trekking, meet your driver and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Cultural tour and transfer to Mgahinga National Park
After an early breakfast on day 10 of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for an exciting cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa, learn about their way of living, visit their homesteads, enjoy their cultural performances among others.
After the community tour, transfer to Mgahinga National Park. Arrive on time at the park, check into the lodge relax, and later have lunch. After lunch, leisure at the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga National Park
After an early breakfast on the second day of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest in search of the golden monkeys and once found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habitat where you will be able to watch them jumping up in trees, playing, feeding, taking photos and record videos. After the face-to-face encounter with the golden monkeys, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you can opt to visit the Batwa pygmies or stay at leisure at the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Transfer to Jinja
On the ninth day of the safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Jinja with a stopover at the Equator for lunch en-route and enjoy impressive photography as well as visiting craft shops. Arrive late in the evening and check into your hotel for dinner and overstay at Nile front cottages-budget
Day 10: White water rafting and transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast on the last day of the safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for an adventurous white water rafting activity. White water rafting is done according to grades ranging from grade 1 to grade 5 by the use of small paddle rafts with air and a trained guide who will ask you if you want to proceed to the next grade at the end of each grade which gives you unforgettable memories on your safari.
After white water rafting, you will have lunch and then start the journey back to Entebbe and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
