Detailed Itinerary

Day 1; Pick up and Transfer

Your one-day trip to the popular Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino Trekking Tour will start with an aromatic coffee /tea served with tasty snacks.

Then, you will leave your hotel for 3-to 4-hour journey in a 4×4 safari Van / Land Cruiser on the Kampala -Luwero – Nakasongola route. Branch off from Nakitoma about 7kilomters to get to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary early enough for a rhino tracking experience with a skilled tour guide. While trekking the rhino, you won’t only see the white rhinos but also antelopes, bird species, among others. You will enjoy 1 to 2 hours with rhinos face to face, capture videos and pictures as well as learning their behavior and return from your foot walk experience.

After, you will depart back to Kampala with an en-route lunch. On your way back to Kampala. There are some fresh pineapples and oranges to buy when you get to Luweero.  Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be dropped off at your hotel or place of residence.
