Bwindi Impenetrable National Park tends to receive heavy rainfall thus making the soil soft and wet. So along your safari, you’re required to carry comfortable rubble boots or shoes to enable you in support as you hike through slippery forest trails, especially during the wet season which tends to happen from March to May and October to November. Although during dry seasons, comfortable hiking shoes are needed for easy hiking.

Take note; Tourists planning to go for gorilla trekking tours, have to first obtain their Gorilla Trekking Permits to access the natural habitat of gorillas.

Gorilla trekking permits in Uganda cost USD700 per person and Rwanda’s gorilla permits double Uganda’s price which goes to USD1,500 per person per trek. Gorilla trekking Safari can take about 30 to 7 hours depending on the mountain gorilla’s movements and once are gorilla family is allocated one hour is given to the trackers to spend with them as you learn about their lifestyle and stunning behaviors.
