The 8 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari takes you to Uganda’s magical wildlife safari destination where tourists are able to enjoy diversity of animals together the ‘’big fives’’ and various rare and colorful birdlife as well as a bucket of activities among others. This trips leads you visit Uganda’s famous Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park many others.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On first day of the 8 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari, upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our driver guide brief you about the safari and be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park in northwestern Uganda region. The journey involves in en- route lunch and then proceed to the park. Have dinner and overnight stay Pakuba Safari Lodge – Midrange, Parkside Safari Lodge – Budget.

Day 2: Game Viewing and Boat Launch

After an early aroma coffee or tea, you should be ready for a dawn game drive, including birding and wildlife adventure along the Nile and Albert Deltas. While on game viewing, expect to meet some of animals like herds of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, waterbucks and various number of birds, among others. You will then return to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for an impressive boat trip along the Nile giving you a stand opportunity to view Murchison Falls from below. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes and birds can be seen along the shores of the river among others. After, go back to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above at Pakuba Safari Lodge (Midrange)/Parkside Safari Lodge – Budget

Day 3: Drive to Fort Portal

Have an early morning breakfast, drive to Fort-Portal with an en-route lunch along the way. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Raja Excelsior.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Today, you will have delicious breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy your meal and head for afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel to watch Hippos, crocodiles and various water birds. After the boat cruise you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hub lodge (midrange)/ Pumba safari cottages (budget)

Day 5: Morning Game drive and transfer to Lake Mburo national park

Have breakfast and prepare for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. While driving in this savanna part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will watch numerous fauna and flora species including mammals; Lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, impala, waterbucks many more. After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and transfer to Lake Mburo national park where you will spend your night at Arcadia cottages (midrange)/ Eagles nest lodge (budget).

Day 6: Morning game / walking safari and afternoon boat cruise

Enjoy a game drive in this small savanna park. Lake Mburo National Park harbors with plenty of animals including Eland, antelope, zebras among others. After game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and head on an afternoon boat ride on the Lake Mburo giving you the chance to view water animals’ species like; Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and various water birds including; Fish Eagles, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, Cormorant, and the rare shoebill stork many more. Drive back to your lodge for a relaxed evening for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 7: Return to Kampala for city tour

After breakfast, we shall check out of Lodge and proceed with our journey to Kampala. Expect to arrive in Kampala at lunch time and after lunch you will go to enjoy Kampala city tour where you will be able to explore lots of beautiful attractions and participating some of interesting activities.

Day 8: Departures

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast on this last day of your safari, then check out of the lodge and depart back to Kampala. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your place of hotel or at Entebbe International Airport
