Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Depending on your point of location in Dar es Salaam, our safari representative will come for you and give you a short briefing about the safari. Afterward, you will drive to a 2-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will enjoy the breathtaking scenery of open grassland plains, dotted with ancient baobab trees and traditional Masai Villages, where nomadic herders graze their cattle.

Upon arrival in this remarkable park, get ready to enjoy extraordinary wildlife viewing. Tarangire is home to Africa’s largest concentration of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, among others.

At midday, you will enjoy a hot picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. After a great day, you will return to your selected hotel, lodge, or camp, where a hearty dinner and a relaxing evening await.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

You will have a delicious breakfast before descending over 600 meters into one of the world’s most breathtaking natural wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater. During your game drive, you will enjoy up-close encounters with some of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife, including majestic elephants, the rare and elusive black rhino, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras.

In the afternoon, you will pause to enjoy a picnic lunch at the floor of this awe-inspiring crater. The park is rich in diversity of habitats, ranging from lush forests and open grasslands to swamps and shimmering lake shores. The crater offers a perfect immersive experience.

You will keep an eye out for iconic predators like lions, hyenas, and the elusive serval cat. It is also home haven for bird species with over 400 species recorded. It is simply for a lover of nature. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara Np /Departure

After a delightful breakfast, depart from Tarangire and head towards the famous Lake Manyara National Park. The journey is a 2-hour drive and it’s worth rewarding. On arrival, you will have an en-route gam drive where you will be captivated by Africa’s most renowned animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, among others. You will also experience the uniqueness of this park, which includes the tree-climbing lions, easily seen lounging on acacia trees. As a bird enthusiast, you will be able to spot various bird species like eagles, hawks, and vibrantly colored lilac-breasted rollers, as well as large flocks of flamingos.
