Day 1: Kigali to Nyungwe Forest
Depending on your location in Kigali, our safari driver guide will pick you up, brief you about the safari, and drive you towards Nyungwe Forest National Park. On the way, you will experience a stop at the Ethnographic Museum in Huye to learn about Rwanda’s history and culture.
Arrive at Nyungwe in the evening and check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest
On day 2 of the safari, get prepared to meet up with great apes in their natural habitat. You will be escorted through the range to lead you through the forest in search of other primates like Chimpanzees, Colobus monkeys and Vervet monkeys, as well as birds and butterflies.
Once you find them, you will be given an hour to spend with them. Enjoy their amazing lifestyle and take a memorable photo shoot. Dinner and overnight stay.
