Detailed Itinerary of the 2 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Depending on your point of location in Kampala, drive to Kibale Forest National Park with lunch en-route in the beautiful town of Fort Portal and then after, go visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru stalagmites site and crater lakes tour.
Continue a drive to Kibale National Park. Arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest /Departure Kampala
After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver guide and served with a packed lunch to be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee rules. After briefing, you will be accompanied by the park ranger through tracking forest trails to search for chimpanzees. The experience takes about 30 to 4 hours. Once they are found, you will be allowed one hour to spend with them.
After the trekking experience, hike back to the meeting point to meet with your driver guide. Proceed the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Arrive late evening and be dropped off at your hotel or any place of location you will advise.
