Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Entebbe
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe International Airport on day 1 of the 10 Days Magical Uganda Safari, you will be welcomed by our expert driver guide, who will brief you about the safari and then drive to the hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay at a Best Western hotel (midrange) or Cycad guest house (budget).

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
After breakfast on day 2 of the 10 Days Magical Uganda Safari, our safari driver guide will pick you up from the hotel to transfer to Murchison Falls National Park which is the largest and oldest game park in Uganda- Pearl of Africa. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours’ drive and along the way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking experience where after you will continue the journey with another stopover in Masindi town for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Murchison falls national park. On arriving, you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will be amazed of gainful view of the waterfall, enjoy sweet thunderous water falls among others. From the waterfall, you will drive to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Pakuba safari lodge-midrange or Parkside safari lodge-budget.

Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After having an early breakfast on day 3 of the 10 Days Magical Uganda Safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to drive you for a morning game drive where you will be able to spot wide range of animals such as giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, lions, leopards, warthogs, Jackson’s hartebeest among others. After the game drive, drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an interesting boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will be able to watch animals at the shores of the Nile quenching for thirsty including elephants, antelopes, buffaloes as well as viewing hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view aquatic bird species such as hornbills, cormorants, king fishers, bee-eaters, fish eagles among others. After an impressive boat cruise you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale national park
After breakfast on day 4 of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Kibale Forest National Park which lies in western Uganda. On the way you will have en-route lunch and enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful scenery, landscape, tea plantation, Rwenzori Mountains, views of the crater lakes many others. Upon arrival in Kibale national park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee forest lodge-midrange or Isunga lodge-budget.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
On day 5 of the 10 Days Magical Uganda Safari, you will wake up early have your perfect breakfast, then after you will be driven to the Kanyachu park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest in lookout of chimpanzees’ individuals. Trekking of chimpanzees in Kibale national park takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending their location and during trekking you will be rewarded with views of other primates such as l’hoest monkeys, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked Mangabey, views of different bird species many others. Once the chimpanzees are located you will be permitted to spend one hour with them in their environment which helps you to watch them feed, play, fight, hunt, rest, observe their behaviors, take photos and capturing videos among others. After the one-hour encounter with the chimpanzees you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda’s second largest national park. On the way you will enjoy rewarding views of the scenery, landscape. Upon arrival in the park you will go for an evening game drive where you will be rewarded with sighting of animals such as elephants, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs among others which will be going back to their resting areas. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hab –midrange or Queen Elizabeth safari lodge-budget.

Day 6: Morning game drive/ optional lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on day 6 of the safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to embark for a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be able to watch different range of wild animals including elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, waterbucks which will be grazing in an open savannah plain, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas which will be looking for a morning hunt, view bird species among others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head for an impressive boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water channel that connects lake Edward and lake George where you will be able to view school of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks drinking water along the shores, view water birds such as hornbills, cormorants, fish eagles, king fisher’s among others. After the boat ride you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On day 7 of the safari, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On the way you will have a stopover in Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will be able to view the rare tree climbing lions which will be lazily lying up in acacia/ fig tree branches. After the game drive in Ishasha sector, you will have lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Arrive and check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ruhija gorilla mist camp-midrange or Bakiga lodge -budget.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Rushaga sector
Wake up early and enjoy delicious early breakfast on day 8 of the safari, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to drive to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing about the rules and regulations. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest trails heads in search of the mountain gorilla family you’re assigned too. The trekking experience takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are found. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, different birds, plants many others. On finding them, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural environment which gives you an opportunity to watch their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, take photos and record videos for your future remembrance.
After the one-hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Rushaga sector in the southern part of Bwindi National park. On arriving ,you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Four Gorilla Lodge midrange or Rushaga gorilla haven lodge-budget.

Day 9: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will have relaxed morning breakfast on the ninth day of the safari, you will carry packed lunch boxes from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to head for a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during trekking. After the briefing, you will join a team of researchers, scientist, park guides many others and start trekking.
Gorilla habituation experience is a full day activity and during trekking you will be able to view other wildlife species including other primate species, different trees among others.
On finding them, you will be allowed to spend four hours with them in their natural habitat which gives you a great chance to learn and monitor their habits, behaviors, watch them feed, breastfeed, play, engage in the naming process, take memorable photography and videos for your future remembrance. After the face to face interacting with the mountain gorillas you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet your driver guide and drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 10: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the safari, you will enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge and then meet up with your driver guide to set off back to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch and another stopover at the Equator where you will enjoy picture taking and visiting the craft shops where you can buy souvenirs to take home among others. From the Equator you will continue to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of your choice.
