Detailed Itinerary
Day 1-2: Pick up and Travel to Maasai Mara, Kenya
Arrive in Nairobi and travel to the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Go on full-day game drives to spot the ‘’Big five’’ and search for the Great Wildebeest Migration if it’s the right season. It usually happens from July to mid-October, and you can witness the remarkable wildebeest and zebra migration across the Mara River.
During the game drive, expect to see various animal species like lion, elephant, leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Cheetah, hippo, Wildebeest, Antelopes, and many more.
Enjoy a visit to a local manyatta ‘’homestead’’ to learn about the Maasai people’s culture and traditional way of life.
Sundowners and bush meals; Enjoy a drink or a full meal in a beautiful spot, often at sunset. Option: do horseback safaris, where you will explore the savanna on horseback for a unique way to experience the landscape and wildlife. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3-4: Tanzania ‘’Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro NP’’
You will either fly or drive from the Maasai Mara to the Serengeti National Park.
Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti, known for its wide concentration of wildlife. Some of the animals to see include lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, and elephant herds. Or engage in the annual migration of around two million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles across the plains.
Options: Do a Hot Air Balloon safari to enjoy an aerial view of the park’s landscape and the animals below.
Visit the hippo pool to see a large concentration of hippos in the Grumeti River. Or visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their amazing way of life, traditions, and history.
Enjoy bush meals – breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the wilderness, often a romantic and magical experience.
Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim and visit Olduvai Gorge.

Day 5: Explore Ngorongoro Crater – Tanzania
On this day, after a morning breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive to watch the wildlife within this beautiful caldera.
After the game drive, depart towards the Tanzanian town of Arusha.
Day 6: Fly to Uganda ‘’Entebbe /Bwindi’’
Fly from Tanzania, either Arusha or Kilimanjaro, to Entebbe, Uganda. Have an overnight stay near Entebbe. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up by our professional driver guide from your hotel and then transferred to Bwindi National Park with a stop at the equator to enjoy memorable photo shoots and a water experiment.
Have another stop in Mbarara town for a picnic lunch. After lunch, drive straight to the park. Arrive in the evening, connect to your booked lodge for refreshment, dinner, and overnight.

Day 8: Leisure at the Hotel/Lodge
On this day, spend the entire day at the lodge, relaxing, enjoying the cool breeze of nature around. Or have the option to participate in a Batwa Pygmies cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Wake up early, have a heavy breakfast at the lodge, followed by a transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules. After the briefing, go meet up with the park ranger to locate you to a gorilla family. Through searching for gorillas, expect to see other small primates and bird species. Gorilla trekking can take between 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the movements.
Once you find them, you will be given one hour to spend with them, learning about their behavior, habits, play, and feed as well as capturing memorable videos. Back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure
After having a delicious breakfast at the lodge, followed by check out and transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or a convenient place.
